"Running a canine cancer awareness and animal rescue organization can be overwhelming at times. There are so many different types of people and dogs that come to us needing help, each with their own personalities and baggage. Usually people can tell us exactly what they are thinking, however dogs are more difficult to read. Most of the animals in rescue are here because of behavior issues that are usually a result of the dog’s interactions with people. Theresa is able to give us insight into how the dog perceives their reality, in turn helping us find ways to heal the dogs AND the people at the same time. Often times the dog was placed in our path for a reason, and Theresa helps us to overcome what seem like insurmountable obstacles with a new perspective and outlook from the dogs point of view.
